Your First Visit

At A-Care Chiropractic & Acupuncture in Richardson Tx (near N. Dallas & Plano), our goal is to develop a health care chiropractic treatment program and plan that will put you on the road to recovery.

The first part of the exam is a medical history evaluation to determine if we can help you with your back pain, neck pain, injuries and other symptoms. Next is a range of motion test to find the areas of concern. We will also place you in different positions and ask you questions like, "does this hurt"? Of course your answers may vary from "yes", "a little", to "no". These are orthopedic tests that help determine part of what may be causing your problems. These tests also help to narrow down the areas and symptoms so we can closely evaluate, for example by X-Ray if needed, or MRI, if medically necessary. There are several other tests we will perform, like blood pressure, pulse, and reflex to further determine your exact health status.

X-ray

An X-ray is sometimes required to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for an X-ray is considered on a case by case basis. We do have access to a Digital X-Ray machine, which is state of the art and will give more insight to where you pain is coming from.

Report of Findings

Once your examination has been performed and all the information is gathered, Dr. Leybovich will give you a report of his findings and recommend the treatment needed that puts you on the road to recovery.

Treatment

Many of our patients begin to see results from the very first adjustment. Our special gentle, yet effective alignment of the body is interactive with the patient: gentle enough for kids yet able to restore function and movement for the athlete and senior.
